There is a one time, nominal processing fee of $300.00 to apply for AWESOME writer membership and $500.00 for AWESOME publisher membership, this fee is non-refundable, but there are no annual dues.
The word AWESOME is an acronym for Advancing Writers Entertainers Singers On Music Endeavours. It is located at 174 Eastern Main Road, Tunapuna, and managed by a Board of Directors. Using Media Monitoring, AWESOME has set out to do what no other copyright company has done locally, regionally or internationally by allowing members to see via our website what royalties are due to them on a daily basis.
AWESOME has made the distribution of royalties to its members transparent, by allowing them to track their music via our website on various radio frequencies. We have also modified the age old formulae used for the calculation of royalties, to ensure members receive their just dues. Our media monitoring software has totally eliminated the three to five days sampling method used by other organizations, eliminating the need for radio stations to log music played.
In addition, AWESOME provides to corporate companies, government agencies and statistical bodies media monitoring services for advertisements, tracking of one’s competitors and public relations to gain an opinion of one’s reputation. These unique services allow AWESOME to maintain a steady flow of income despite economic downturns making AWESOME financially feasible for investors.
